4/25 - 5/1


Sunday - Jamie Oliver's Lasagna*
Monday - Sweet & Sour Ribs (Quick Cooking Jan/Feb 2000)*, mashed potatoes, salad  
Tuesday - Tacos
Wednesday - Pasta Primavera (Quick Cooking Jan/Feb 2000)*, Garlic Bread, salad
Thursday - Sloppy Joes (, corn
Friday - Manicotti, fresh fruit
Saturday - Garlic Butter Steak*, roasted potatoes with thyme & gorgonzola, roasted garlic green beans

*new to us this week


  1. When you meal plan...or when you make meals do you make JUST enough or do you have left overs? If I actually made 7 dinners every week I'd have left overs forever. Do you eat left overs? Just curious. Meal planning seems impossible to me lol

    I'd really like to get good at it.

  2. we used to have a lot left, but now that the girls are bigger it's usually just enough. I like to have a little left over to give them for lunches, but usually I don't. I usually fix things that are 4 servings, and it fits us perfect. probably because B and I eat a little more than 1 serving and the girls eat the rest.

    Sometimes I have leftovers on purpose to freeze, but mostly just soups or if I make spaghetti sauce in the crockpot. stuff like that.

  3. well I'm excited for your new blog. I'm going to have to try some of the recipes out. good idea. and simple if you keep it to this format where you just post what you're going to eat so you'd be more likely to keep up with it rather than posting pictures/ explanations etc. but you'll have to let me know how everyone liked stuff every once in a while. because sometimes we LOVE a dinner but Maddie won't touch it

  4. do you have his cookbook, do you like it? (Jamie Oliver) are you making the simple baked Lasagna?
